Frankly, the place to go is Youtube. There is a chinese made 808 camera (Less than $50 in all iterations I think, #11 and #16 are both nice) that is great. They show you sample videos and discuss features.

There is a very good thread at the Australian Cycling Forums with lots of information on options etc from various users. Opening page provides a very good summary.

Here is a post I just made elsewhere:
https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...1#post14339733
Contains photos and video from 808 #16, Contour Roam and Crocolis Extreme Cam.
808 is OK but kind of a pain to fiddle with and not waterproof or durable.
Contour Roam is great, though non-removable battery is a little sub-optimal (other Contours have removable batteries) and I really wish they'd add loop recording, every other camera even the $38 808 #16 HD have this. Also on the Roam at least the need to connect to a computer to erase prior recordings and change the settings is kind of a pain.
Crocolis has pretty much all the features and uses a VERY cheap ($5 on ebay) Fuji camera battery and takes standard SD, but is a little big and heavy. I'm OK with it but many would not be, and it's not at all stealth.
I'm not sure what I'd buy right now. It would probably be one of the latter two, but I'd be hard pressed to choose right now.
