Show Your Helmet-Mounted Electronics (Lights, Cameras, Etc)!
I've decided to take the plunge and wear a helmet cam on the bike. The cost has deterred me, but someone showed me some inexpensive, compact, 30 gram video camera-battery-control units used for radio controlled airplanes. $38 for a 720p unit. (Search Hobby King, Wing HD camera.)
These units are not water-resistant at all (just a lens, battery and circuit board, held together in a plastic sleeve - I guess it isn't common to fly RC planes in the rain) so I will have to find some way to protect them, and mount them.
I'm thinking of mounting two cameras (forward and rearward facing) and bright head light / less bright rearward light / red blinky on my helmet. The idea would be that the cameras would be aimed with the lights, thus usable for night-time rides.
I already ride with helmet lights, so I'm okay with having lumps on my lid.
It would be very helpful for me to see your solutions to similar challenges. Show us your helmet-mounted electronic gizmos! Please and thank you.

You might find reading this thread at the Australian Cycling Forums informative. Lots of DIY and other information on helment cams. Now days I ride with two cameras. A Contour HD1080P which I have mounted facing towards the rear and a Jumbo 808 #11 camera which is either mounted on my handlebars as per the photo below or on my helmet. In regards to the helmet I just use a piece of 3M Dual Lock to hold it in place. Techmoan has a good review of the Jumbo 808 #11 and in the Australian Cycling Forums there is a good suggestion for a waterproof case.

Thanks for the link, there is useful stuff there. The keychain cameras are interesting, I'd not heard of them before.
I'm now thinking that the rear facing camera should be seatpost mounted, so that it always looks toward the cars behind me. That would leave just the forward camera and the forward light and rearward blinky for helmet mounting.

Light and Motion VIS 360 (usb charged, front and rear unit tethered) mounted on a Specialized Propero II helmet. Intending to begin randonneuring and plan to use this light as an auxiliary/map reader.
