Endomondo

Anybody use Endomondo?

It seemed like a fun app., so I downloaded it to my Samsung Galaxy S II this morning and took my dog for a walk to try it out. After about a 2 km. stroll, it showed that I'd gone over 40 kms.! I wonder if I should give up on this or give it another try.

Used it for 8 months. The pro version is nice. Sometimes it goes mad and tells me I rode at 90kmh on the flat but its rare.

Went for a little ride this morning and it worked like a charm.

What are the advantages of the pro version?

I used it twice pretty good, but what I really wanted was strava so I'm going to use that now instead!

Don't have any of those. Anything based on a GPS tracking system is only as accurate as the available signal and based on my own iPhone experience in and around Montreal - it doesn't take much to screw things up. Think this year I'll be cutting back on electronics as much as is practical.

More data. seems to be a little better tweaked on the autopause and voice coach features. Lots of data available. More than I want.

i prefer using cardiotrainer, it has many nice features and does not overestimate on distance like many of the gps programs do,
