Garmin Edge 500 -- lost data. Does this happen with the Edge 800?
My Garmin Edge 500 lost my ride data yesterday. I've put 150+ rides on this thing and have never had that happen, but from some searching online, I see it has happened to quite a few people. However, I see no mention of it with Edge 800. Is this not a problem for the 800?
Statistically, the chances of it happening are low, but I've been contemplating the move to the 800 for awhile now to get the map data.
The new 810 looks slick, but I'm wary of first releases of anything and the difference in cost is quite large (especially with some of the deals I've seen on the 800).
Thanks,
Bob
