Alternatives to the Garmin Edge 500/510; Would this computer work with a powermeter?

Hello,

I'm currently looking around for a bike computer with ANT+ compatibility to facilitate the use of a hrm, and perhaps a power meter.

While a Garmin would be nice, I saw this computer on Nashbar: http://www.nashbar.com/bikes/Product..._#ReviewHeader

It clearly states functionality with a hrm, but do you know if an ANT powermeter would work, too?

Not bad for $50. If it displayed power data, it would say so (it doesn't say so).

The Bontrager Node 1.1 and 2.1 are ANT+ based. It will display power data.

Displaying is good, but by itself is of little utility. It's much much better if it's recorded along with your track so you can later analyze it.

If you have an appropriate smart phone...

This is a HRM that converts ANT+ to BT.
