    We are looking for product reviewers

    Hey gang,

    We are an overseas retailer looking for experienced riders to do detailed reviews of some of our bike gear (mostly LED lights for bars and helmets)

    If you are interested, send me a PM with you info and links to any previous reviews. Hope to find a regular reviewer.

    Why don't you start by publishing the reviews of your products by your customers on your website, including the negative ones! You actually lost me as a customer after you did not bother to respond to my criticism, on this forum, of your censorship!

    Over the years there have been many threads commenting on the products sold by Deal Extreme. Some good, some bad. During that time people continue to buy from D/X regardless of negativity associated with the name. Perhaps D/X is trying to change it's image. Certainly asking for reviewers is a good way to start.

    I've dealt with Mr. Joseph and he seems like a very nice man. Like all company employees I'm sure he doesn't have a magic wand that can change all of his companies policies. At least if you choose to review one of their products you have total impunity if you post a review either here or on MTBR. In the mean time you have a chance to review a product ( free of charge ) and to post your honest opinions. Not to mention, a chance also to dialog with one of the D/X employee's and to give opinion on how best to "improve" their products.

    I've reviewed one of their products and think that D/X is trying to provide better customer feedback. They still have a long way to go but this is a good start.

    I've written a number of reviews that they encouraged the customers to write. They only posted those more positive ones and in that way they in particular demonstrated a disrespect for my time. I will not produce any more reviews of any sort for them and I discourage anybody else from writing and fueling their falsehood. I refrain from purchasing gas from Exxon/Mobile because they fund crank science to disprove the global warming and its human causes. In the same manner I should not patronize DX that manipulate data generally supplied in good faith by their customers. And yes, if in a general desert and w/o choice, I may buy gas from Exxon.

    You going to ship them for me to test? . I work in the Bike Industry.. I can give a Biased Opinion..
    Won't buy it then give a free review..
    Psychologically, those seem to just justify having spent the Money for rationalizing having done so.

    NB: this is a good place to test for Water Resistance !!

    http://budgetlightforum.com is an independent site and has reviews on lots of lights. I haven't purchased from DX in a couple of years, but I am happy with my purchases. I only purchased lights that had a lot of recent positive reviews.
