Worth fixing???
I have 2 Niterider digital head trip lights that are in need of to some TLC.
They were used without my permission and were returned in pretty bad shape.
The need new reflectors and probably new lights etc..
Is it worth sending these out to the manufacturer and having them refurbished or is it better to just purchase new lights?
Also can they be converted to led etc??
They served me well in the past, but like I said they are in need of some TLC
Any suggestions would be welcomed.

It's certainly worth sending them to the manufacturer if they're otherwise not usable. They're the ones to ask, not us. At least send them a photo and ask.
If they treat you awesomely, let us know so we can lean towards them for future purchases.

I had a Nightrider HID light with HiMH batteries that I got years ago. It was awesome in its time, but it died, so I got new LED headlight with a LiIon battery for less than 1/3 the price and 1/3 the weight and it's awesomer. I'd just get a new LED light.

I would go for an LED. I have looked at putting LED's into old HID lights and I really don't see much benefit in resorting them or updating them. And I would ask for contributions from the person who took them. You could ask niterider for an estimate and ask for that amount from the person involved
