Upgrading from Edge 500 to 510

If I upgrade from 500 to 510, do I need a new HRM and cadence sensor or will the 510 just pick it up? Thanks

Yes. Most any Ant+ HRM and wheel/cadence sensors will work, including those from your 500.

Would recommend a review of the Garmin Edge 510 forums before pulling the trigger. A lot of issues with it. I had one and returned it.

Have you got a link? I'm thinking of buying one.

Depends what you use it for. Sounds like HRM and cadence are not perfect, but much better than when initially released. Course navigation is unusable, and the main reason I returned mine.
