Dyno + battery

Since my riding is mostly at daytime, wouldn't it be better to have the dyno charge a battery to run lights? There will be a deficit at night (about 30-40 mins 2-3 times a week) but it should be covered by the day riding (about 2 hrs every day), and the lights would be on when stopped.
