Magnifying Screen for a Garmin?

Has anyone used a magnify screen on a Garmin? I have an 800 and I have a problem seeing the small print.

I'm using these sunglasses with small reading lenses in just the right place. They're specifically designed for the problem you and I have. About $50, lots of styles including clear. I've now got about 8 data fields on my Garmin 800 just because I can.

An issue with a magnifying screen is it can block/fool the smart glass on these devices rendering the touch feature useless.

Not sure they would work as I wear Rudy Project cycling glasses with inserts. Did not think about the touch problem.

Is there such a thing as a magnifying overly for the screen?

I use progressive bifocal riding glasses.
