Ohuhu wireless cyclometer - got a manual?

I'm seeking a manual on this, as I am unable to get Ohuhu to help. I'm hoping someone has a pdf on the settings. Thanks!

While I can appreciate the armchair quarterbacking, I'm just looking to move the ball down the field with obtaining answer. It was a simply query (not a request for advice),but for those that want more detail (which makes no difference to the story)....
  • The unit was not purchased, but came on a bike I recently acquired, and simply put, want to get it working again.
  • I do own Cateyes as my sole brand, I see that I have seven in use from what bikes are stored in the house today.
  • I had performed the usual searches online for literature, and as noted, contacted the company after finding nothing.
Thanks in advance, to those that might offer some guidance on the settings of this unit.

So you'd rather no one tell that you apparently are the only owner of a Ohuhu that frequents this forum?

I don't think any of us were trying to chide you. We have just never seen anyone but you ask anything about them. And you certainly can't find anything on the internet about them except people wanting to sell you one.

Oldnslo, MOST ALL OF THESE SIMPLE INEXPENSIVE SPEEDOS WITH 2 BUTTONS WORK NEARLY THE SAME.
DON'T LET THE EARLIER REMARKS OF THE MINDLESS SILLY IDIOTS GET TO YOU. I just don't understand why such idiots make such useless comments.
They expect useful and helpful information when they pose a question to the entire braintrust of the forum, yet they seem to childishly judge and mock other forum members' request for helpful guidance in figuring out a simple inexpensive no-name device or part.....(a basic speedo here in this case.). .....even though said no-name device is very much like many of the very old basic name-brand devices of yesteryear in operational capabilities.

Okay, I cannot guarantee that you'll immediately get the hang of how everything operates on your particular device, but based on my experience, most of these two button devices program and function in a similar fashion.

I would encourage you to look at these instructional directions for these three different chinese speedos.

Hey, one thing that you'll find is the easiest way to start over when programming or reprogramming is to just REMOVE the battery from the Display(head unit) and then immediately re-install this battery.................THIS ZEROES OUT EVERYTHING AND LETS YOU START OVER FROM SCRATCH.
Basically when you do get back to starting from scratch..... (After installing the battery back into the unit).......The Device will begin with some particular function that it wants you to DECIDE-AND/or INPUT such things as whether you want MILES or km.......................the four digit MILIMETER tire circumference...........you'll quickly see that one of the two buttons is the button to change the first digit and the other button will move over to the second digit......and so on. to the third... and once you get the fourth digit , you then hit the particular button which moves it over to the next particular programming input...............it works the same way..........it doesn't matter , you've got a CLOCK........the device asks for you to choose between 24 hour (military) time or 12 hour time, and the one slightly tricky thing you'll notice is most of these devices do make you advance the hours number digit in order to get it into the proper AM or PM time.......because most of these display AM or PM on the time display.
The ODOMETER function can be set to whatever you want to input.........obviously it is 0000 but it will require that you hit the button to move over to the next digit until you complete the Odometer entry.
Heck, you remember 2pi x r = will give you the Circumference of a circle. A wheel is a circle. Any point from the center of the circle to its outer edge is your radius.
r = radius
pi = 3.14
So TWOpi multiplied by the radius will give you your wheel's circumference. ......and you thought that 8th grade math class from 50 years ago was useless.
(Measure for the radius of your bike's front wheel........just like it says from the center point to the outer edge of the tire.........................It doesn't matter where you measure because it is the same in a circle.............yeah your bike wheel might not be absolutely perfect circle but it should be pretty dang close.

Certainly, you can measure the tire rolling a single revolution on the hardwood floor of your dining room.......then just input that.
What always surprises me is that so many folks find it puzzling about what the heck that the figure that they need, because it is so frikken simple.
Folks that are otherwise, like Jethro Bodine that have grad-gee-ate- ed the sixth grade and beyond............some even with J.D. degree, MBA, Phd, CPA, and even MD's and DMD's and even I.T. folks.................though you'll never find anyone with at least a BS in Engineering that doesn't know this super simple stuff even if they happened to be severely intoxicated/impaired at the time.


These basic old-style "DUMB" bicycle computers do essentially all the same basic things that all of this type have been doing since about 40 years ago.
It shouldn't be too difficult to figure out how a particular simple "DUMB" computer works, the other models listed above likely have functions that operate the same as yours does. I hope this helps.

You will notice on nearly all of these inexpensive Two Button bicycle computers that the LEFT BUTTON (or Left Key if you wanna call it that)--------is------MODE.
The RIGHT BUTTON (or Right Key if you wanna call it that)-------------is-----------SET.

Okay, you will see that some of the instruction manuals may have the written instruction saying to Press LEFT key while other manuals might say Press MODE, don't worry because it is the same button.........they are simply giving a different descriptive name to the left button............it is essentially like the interchangeability of saying Jagger, or Rolling Stones frontman, or simply saying Mick ......................


LEFT = MODE

RIGHT = SET


Some models might have a tiny M that is stamped into the plastic of the Left Button, and a tiny S that is stamped into the Right Button.
It is nearly impossible to see these stampings without having your eyeball within three inches of the small buttons.

I think you will find that your unit does work in the same way as these others presented here.
These "DUMB" bicycle computers still do everything that the best of the "DUMB" era bicycle computers did decades ago.
They are simply referred to as "DUMB" computers because this simple style of speedo unit DOES NOT UPLOAD INFORMATION & DATA TO THE USER as some of the much more complex units that are available now. While these incredibly inexpensive modern "DUMB" units from China are only around $10 in total cost, they often have much better visible display for current speed than the most expensive units of just more than a decade ago. They work extremely well. They are reliable and most of these use the simple ordinary CR2032 dime sized batteries that last a good long time. If one only needs a basic "DUMB" computer, these are fine.
Smaller is not always an asset here because, you do want a display that is logical and has a speedo readout display that is easily visible. Once you get too small in terms of overall unit size, the display is tiny and it's overall size might compromise its ease of use, unless you've got the eye of an eagle.
