ENVE Wahoo Replacement Insert

All the people that have the ENVE mount and want to switch it from Garmin to Wahoo, this model will do just that. Uses the existing hardware.

To quote Bare Naked Ladies, "If I had a Million Dollars..." I would give some serious consideration to the newly announced FUSE 1 from Formlabs.

https://formlabs.com/3d-printers/fus...ntent=main-nav

Way to much money for me $10,000 for the printer and another $10,000 for the powder recovery system. It would give you basically a smaller version of the setup that commercial 3D printers use for SLS (Selective Laser Sintering). The TESTED YouTube channel went to Formlabs to look at this printer and Formlabs said that one of their engineers printed a pedal and has used it to commute to work for the past year. That is quite impressive! Once these printers come down (cloned by some Chinese manufacturers) I might have to start saving my pennies. Right now all my pennies are spent on tires (why are tubulars so damn expensive?).

The HLMT-DCV12 helmet mount uses a standard GoPro mount and might be your best option.

I don't know if the printing quality is up to FUSE 1, but it is half the price and open source Sintratec Kit at 5000EUR . Still pricey though!
(sorry I am not allowed to post a link yet)

That's what I use though it's not quite standard. I think it uses an M4 fastener and the GoPro mount is drilled for an M5. I drilled mine out in <min and have been using it daily for a couple of months without issue.

Weird, I use mine with this mount and didn't have to do any modification.

Good info though, thanks.

Sorry I took so long to follow up. Mine was definitely an M4. Below is an image of the Cygo Lite thumbscrew next to a GoPro thumbscrew...

@Michaeldab420 Do you have some personal experience that leads you to this conclusion?

Have been really busy playing with my new printer, but also got some time in to fulfill a few requests.

First, many thanks to Wahoo Fitness for having the foresight to place their mounts in a public repository. To 3D print them there is some modifications to their models but since I know what is printable it wasn't too hard to make those modifications. I took their aero BOLT mount and chopped off the handlebar mount and added a mount for Bontrager Blendr and BMC ICStem.

If you are using the ENVE mount I have two things for that too. The first one is an interface for Di2 that will mount onto the bottom of the ENVE mount. The second is a Wahoo Mount for the top of the ENVE mount.

There are also a couple of rear mounts for Shimano Di2 Junction A boxes.

Thats a bad spot for anything electrical on a tri bike. Those triathletes don't stop when nature calls.

Honestly, I modeled it to go on the back side behind the saddle clamp, I was surprised when I saw the picture.

@JonnyHK they are located here

https://github.com/wahoofitness/ELEMNT-Mount

I am seeing Wahoo Fitness as a very forward thinking company. This alone may make my next bike computer a device from Wahoo Fitness once my Edge 810 kick the bucket. Just note that there are some thin wall features that would be difficult to 3D print. They specify that these models were built for injection molding with a mix of 90% nylon / 10% glass fiber.

Thank you.

My Edge 500 is on it's last legs and I was also considering the Wahoo units.

I'll look closely at those designs. At the very least I'd want to replace the mount disks on my K-edge mounts.

It's not too bad, just be aware there are some sections that are thinner than 1 mm.

I do not sell directly, I am just the person who designed the part, they are sold here: https://shpws.me/N7D1
This mount is designed specifically for the Bontrager Blendr mount and the Garmin Edge 1000.
