    Galaxy S5 bar mount?

Hi folks, Got my firs smart phone Friday. Went with a Galaxy S5. But a bike app on and now am looking for a mount for the aero bars on my Cervelo S5. I put a life proof case on it and it is big. Could almost be a windshield! Any suggestions would be great.
    Thanks
    Bill

If you want something that will work with your existing case (and any case up to a limit) then this is what I use from Ram. Here's a great review from someone who did used this on their bike, w/lots of pics:

    Ram Mount (Bicycle iPhone Holder)

These three pieces below combine to make a wonder bike (or motorcycle, or boat) mount:

    Mount base: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    Adapter arm: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    Phone cradle: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I have crashed (badly) with my phone in this mount on my bike and my phone didn't move/wasn't affected. Ram products are very sturdy, and very highly/positively reviewed, used on bikes, cars, motorcycles, etc. I use their system in my car as well so I can move the same adapter/phone mount parts from my car and to my bike and back.

$41 for all three on Amazon.

Can't say enough about how much I like it - wife and I use this in both of our cars and I use it on my bike as well. Only issue might be how big your phone is w/the case - the one I use opens to 3.25" wide...they also have another cradle that is for "phablets" and would certainly hold your phone, but you might not need to get the larger cradle if you meet the 3.25" maximum of the standard Ram cradle.

Slipgrip makes great adjustable mount that you can use with your case or without you case. Its either one or the other though. Look on ebay if they make one with your case. I have one with my Note 4 and tech21 case. Aluminum balljoint, if you get a new phone you just buy a new top mount which is $15. The quadlock is awesome but doesnt offer adjustable angle. I ordered an aero computer mount so I can attack the phone mount to it and get the mount off my bars. It should sit flush with bars and look better. When it arrives I will post a pic. No bike computer is gonna give us more features then our phones, works as a good speaker for music too. Just invest in a second battery just incase. They are very light nowadays and then no worries.

Funny you quoted me because just today I made a purchase I should have done in the first place. The mount works fine but since I got new bars which routed the cables in the bar, I needed more top mount surface. I ordered an aero computer mount to put the phone mount on. At the end I looked at my bike and said wtf the rig is huge and heavy so I just bought a wahoo rflkt+. I might use the mount if I need to follow Google maps or on the trainer, but for now I'm going light with a rflkt.
