Alt. Bikers in Europe?

Hey, I'm an eastvan bikesexual heading out on a 5 month tour from amsterdam to istanbul - I'm making it one of my goals to explore European bike culture and to engage in international bikecultural exchange (sharing my experiences from the westcoast in vancouver/victoria, Seattle, and Portland).
Anyone know what's up in europe? I know they've recently started a version of the midnight mystery ride/midnight mass/ midnight ridazzz in Paris (https://eclipcycle.wordpress.com/)
What about choppers? Tallbikes? Bike polo? bikers at least half as crazy as the zoobombers?
