it should be a dream.
plans include lots of riding locally around the rolling hills of the aveyron and the tarn and lot.
at least one trip up north to see belgium and take in a spring classic or two, and at least one trip to italy.
as many of the big classic climbs as possible.
follow around next years tour a bit (this years stage 8 goes right through our soon-to-be neighborhood.)
i'm an artist/painter by trade so it's a bit of a sabbatical to focus on doing some artwork (at least that's the official line.)
hope to solidify my french too.
my wife and i have been planning and dreaming of it for almost ten years, but it's only now that we can make it happen, even with the euro/dollar.
we'll be in the countryside, so a big part of the plan coming from L.A. is to simplify our lives a lot, and escape the horrid crowded consumer driven lifestyle here.
