Eska bikes - Anyone know anything about them?

Eska bikes - Anyone know anything about them?
I heard that these bikes were made in Czechoslovakia years ago so I thought I'd try this question on this forum.
I recently purchased a ladies "Eska Junior" single speed cruiser at a yard sale. It has 26" tires, fenders, coaster brakes and cotter pin cranks. It looks pretty old. does anyone know anything about the company or bike or where to get information about the company or bike?
I live in Canada, have never seen another Eska bike here before, and have only received bewildered looks from bike shop personnel when asked if they know anything about it.

eska bikes yes i have one im in ireland bought in 1968 and still in one piece they were imported by the czecheslovakia govt, to ireland in the 1960s, regards garymcenaney@hotmail.com

Eska
I recently rescued an elderly eska from a ditch and am trying to refurbish it. I can't say I have any information but I would also appreciate any information out there, for instance, none of my pump connections fit the tubes on the bike, anyone know where I could find new ones (in Ireland or on the internet).

Bikes: Touring bike for commuting and traveling, older mountainbike for fun, folder for taking on high-speed trains, where other bikes are not allowed

There is a germanspeaking forum for collectors of old bikes: https://www.altesrad.net/index.php You should ask there, Eska is mentioned in the Czechoslovakia section of the forum. Don't hesitate to write in english, there will probably someone who will understand you.

Eska bikes
sure do remember them. I managed to buckle comprehensively both wheels of my friend's Eska bike. This was in ireland which at the time imported lots of them from Czechoslovakia. The coolest thing about them was without doubt the backpeddle brake which gave you superduper skips. This was long before they bothered with stuff like helmets. The idea was to reach max speed then backpeddle hard and then show off your skidmark. It was while attempting one of these I left the path which was a way higher than the road below and had a hugh rock in between that I wrecked both wheels of my friends bike but I managed to stay on. Cool bike. I think I'd buy one if I came across one. They had small but stubby wheels but if you used them for what they were best at the tyres didnt last. I think they were all considered too dangerous in the end in the same way as the choppers used to overturn.
