London to Paris Bike Ride
Hi there
The Queen Alexandra Hospital Home are looking for willing and able bikers to participate in the London to Paris Bike Ride on 25th to 28th June 2010.
This long-weekend challenge links two great European cities, London and Paris and covers
around 300km in just three days. We cycle through undulating countryside towards the
south coast, before crossing into France by ferry. From Dieppe we continue through sleepy
Normandy villages with some challenging hills to conquer along the way, until we reach the
Eiffel Tower in Paris. Free time to explore this beautiful city before taking the Eurostar home.
Contact Tanya today for more details on tanya-richardson@qahh.org.uk
Registration is £150 + min sponsorship

Dear 10 Wheels
Thank you for enquiring about entering the London to Paris Bike Ride in aid of The Queen Alexandra Hospital Home from 25-28th June 2010.
There is no air fare to pay, the event starts in London on 25th June, from where you cycle to Newhaven. You then take the overnight ferry to Dieppe from through Normandy to Paris. You then return to London by Eurostar on 28th June.
The tour is a charity challenge. We therefore require £150 registration fee and you then fundraise to cover the additional costs of the trip and to raise vital funds for The Queen Alexandra Hospital Home. The sponsorship target is a minimum of £1100.
Please email me your full name, address, email and telephone number and I shall send you a registration pack with the full details.
If you would like any further information at this stage, please do not hesitate to contact me on 01903 218444 or email: tanya-richardson@qahh.org.uk
All the best,
Tanya

Count me as being interested too. Just Yesterday, I sent an email to tanya.. But, much of the information I need has been posted by qaah. above...
ps.. Riding on the left side of the road, should be much easier than driving on the left side of the road...
Does it matter that on June 28, we would not return to London and remain in Paris.

Hi 10 Wheels,
Just to clarify. I notice you are coming from the U.S. You would be responsible for providing your own air fare, but what you could do is increase your sponsorship target to include this. For example, if you raised £1600 that would cover all the expenses of your trip including your air fare.
Let me know what you think.
Kind regards
Tanya
