Allmansrätten in Sweden and Norway

I'm thinking of taking a tour from Göteborg to Oslo for a few days. Even though I live in Denmark, I really don't know how the "camp anywhere" system works (we do _not_ have that right on this side of the Kattegat).

Can someone send me a link to a semi-official page that explains my rights and responsibilities? English, Danish, or Swedish are all fine.

Does anyone here have experience camping like this? Are there any differences between Sweden and Norway? How were you received by landowners, if you encountered any?

I have found this, but experiences would be nice to hear:

I guess what it really comes down to is: Is there a difference between theory and practice?

Tack.

You´re not allowed to camp on anyones OBVIOUS land. In all cases, if theres people living nearby where you want to camp, be polite and ask. But since we´ve got lots of forest theres no trouble with crowds. Theory and practice makes sense if you are used to it, but there will always be cases when someone crosses that sense. It will all be clear once you are here. Norway may be another chapter... Varmt välkommen!

I ended up sleeping in a cow pasture (that's a no-no, but I thought I had gone _through_ the pasture to the other side), a railyard (grossly mis-judged the amount of light I would have), a fantastic campground in Halden, and a waaaaay overpriced, but comfortable, campground in Göteborg.

Basically, I suck a wild camping.
