Book that You Helped With: Free Today
Man, have I been AWOL! I've been riding but not posting.
Months ago I asked for some help writing a cycling-related scene in the sci-fi book I was writing. Well, the book has now been published, and it is free today (one day only). You can get it from Amazon here.

Thanks, Al. It took over an hour for my wife and me but I finally got it loaded onto my computer. I don't know how to make it work on my Nook. I'm seriously technology challenged. I've actually been chastised by my own cell phone for cursing at it.

Got it and looking forward to reading it. I am currently reading Superposition, another SF book, and have two other library books waiting to be read, so this will have to wait a couple of weeks

The last time I read Moby Dick, was required reading in High School, badly skimmed, and notes to get thru a required book report! Sooooooo, I reread a lot of books, and actually enjoy what I'm reading........... LOL

I bought and downloaded the book to my Kindle, and it is high on my list after completing the books I am currently reading. I did however have to read the first page or so...
If the writing and creativity from the first page is indicative of what is to come, I am really expecting to enjoy this book.

I must say it was an enjoyable read. The ending almost had me fooled, but the way things went I knew some thing was 'off'. I also noticed a strong Duglas Adams infulence, probably why I liked it. Was there a reference to 42 that I missed? One thing that I noticed was the the ant hill conversation was pretty much the same as in Contact.
Science fiction isn't usually my thing, but like Adams, it had enough wackyness to keep my interset.
Looking forward to the next one.
