Annual Birthday Ride !

I started doing my birthday rides 36 years ago, and todays was only the 4th one I didn't complete my age. I was 12 miles into my ride when at a light a woman behind me let me know I had a hole in my bibs. It wasn't bad to start but it kept growing. Thank goodness it was a tad chilly today and I wore a tee-shirt with leg and arm warmers. I was able to at least keep pulling the tee-shirt down lower as the hole got bigger. I had several people honk at me, like they've never seen an old white a** before. I decided before the hole exposed my entire a** I would head home. Oh well I guess I'm 36 this year.

Ha, they were just giving you 'A hole lotta luv'. At least you got something to wish for when you blow out the candles...

If you had continued your ride to the end, I think you would have earned a name-change to Seymour Buttz...

Ha, that's funny. One good thing about having a December birthday, is I never have to worry about that birthday mileage foolishness.

So what is so wrong with riding in your birthday suit on your birthday? ;-)

I love my birthday pie rides, but I am considering changing from miles to kilometers in the next few years.

I will now take this thread into account, and be sure to always pack some duct-tape with my rides, for just such emergencies as this...

Duct tape: the all-round tool that is good to use for everything... except ducts, for some reason...
