A weeks vacation
This one is going to be spent at home around the house. New windows going in, massive yardwork, just had the house painted and I want to go over the details etc but it's also going to be a week of daily rides. My usual weekend mileage... 36, take Monday off and then hopefully every day from there out unless something doesn't feel right. I may use next Friday as a rest day too. I'm hoping to do a minimum of 30 miles per day.
It's been so long since I had a vacation I had to look the word up in the dictionary.

The word recreation literally means re-creation.

I had that problem for decades. Then, in 2002, I took two weeks off and did a road trip to Maine....with strict instructions to my office to not even think about calling. It was a life changing experience....literally. My live-in s/o of 16 years and I got married a few months later and began actually living life.
