.... not counting speed limit or stop signs.
I'm visiting in Arkansas and this one seems to be by far the most prevalent. Maybe 2nd is 'Beware of the Dogs' but i haven't been stopping to photograph those.

I've seen a lot of those type signs when I'm out touring, since I love touring away from big cities and love it in the mountains.
However, one of the most common signs I see when I'm cycling around my hometown are the Share the Road signs. It's just a sign, but I very much appreciate them.

You don't see this too much in my version of Paradise (Seattle area). Yes, some.
But horrifically pervasive in rural AR, to the extent that a bottle and can deposit should be mandated.
Some people just like to crap-out their community.
And yes, Bud Lite seems to be the favorite among the local litterers.

It wouldn't have occurred to me, but that would be by far the most common sign I see. A lot of cattle and timber land on my rides and all of that is posted. The signs are required to be posted every 500 feet.

Graffiti, tags. Maybe because I'm looking for them -- I usually carry a camera to photograph interesting tags and graffiti. But nearly every concrete structure has some evidence of tagging. Even in rural areas I've seen familiar tags by prolific urban taggers.

The most common sign? Signs of climate change: Erosion along the coast due to rising sea levels; more and more unseasonable weather; changes in migration of wildlife due to the weather; changes in the lifecycle of flora; etc.

I'm not sure it is the most prevalent or numerous, but the one that always catches my attention, especially on down-hills, is: HIDDEN DRIVE.

Sorry, it's a one horse town with two truckstops and the stable came down.

You know, for years I wondered why you see so many more empty alcohol containers than soda or other beverages? Because people who drink alcohol on the road are less respectful? Too drunk to care?
Then I got it ... they toss 'em out to avoid being caught with an open container. <slaps head>

I see a lot of "winding road next X miles". Then, X miles later, there's a sign that says, "winding road next Y miles". Couldn't they just put one sign up that adds X and Y together?

Because most brains can only remember things for x minutes...they'd forget the road was winding if they had to remember it for x + y minutes.

None.
That's one of the benefits of riding in rural Middle Tennessee. That, and the excellent pavement.
Okay . . . on rare occasions, I see a horse and buggy sign warning to watch out for Amish buggies.
