For most, coffee is more good than bad, and is not a diuretic, as was thought in olden days.

I love coffee and should appreciate any argument in it's defense, I can't see how it could be declared to not be a diuretic. Decades of practical experience tell me the opposite.

Drink a lot of coffee and you'll have to pee a lot but that would happen with drinking water, too.

I have been active my whole life, but I really don't do anything purely for health reasons, although I'll take a quick spin for mental and cardio reasons. And I have been eating less and a little better. Lost a lot of weight 4/5 years ago.

But for me, it is all fun and joy of the activity. I recently got back into surfing, at 65, and there is nothing like dropping in and sliding along on a great ride. And every sport has that stoke... smashing that backhand winner, hiking out of a dinghy and flying along, crushing a drive, etc. Who cares if it is healthy? It is just plain fun.
