Dog & House sitting for daughter

I was volunteered to house-sit in Portland for just over a week.
First thing to be addressed was the garage.
One lonely bike now has friends for a while.
Fixed.

How do you address changes in your life?
Me, I ride a bike, or 2. Or 3...

Gotta love a bike hauling minivan.

This solves the problem of I can't figure out which which jersey to wear with which bike.

Imagine the look on her face when she gets back and the garage door goes up...

Greyhound was a consistent winner. Lives Portland.
Bullydog boy was the quiet enforcer. Lives Seattle area.
Cremepuffs now.
Quiet before dinner.

....only one UNRIDDEN bike....
not even a pump

Portland's growth is not, unfortunately, being driven primarily by the cycling culture.
She's an upwardly mobile, 24yo, NeoNatal ICU nurse.
Her hubby has 0 bikes, 25yo, engineer.
She rode a bit at college, maybe moving to Boston (Sept) for his grad school.
We can only hope. She has been consistently exposed, who knows what sticks.

Love the tidy shed vs 'after shed' look.
Anyone who rescues dogs can't be bad, even if her cycling fetish is suffering.

Actually, the primary reason I was 'forced' to cave and agree to solitary house/dog sitting, was to come to Portland to pick up a new frameset . N+1 lovebug compliments L' Atelier Gugie. An old Spanish beauty, undated as yet, but likely 70s, so into its' 4th decade.

4 sets of wheels needing tires glued.
Wheel bearings if I want to get greasy.
2 frames to clean and wax.
Maybe finish the build of the Dutchie.

So glad there's a red bike in there.

And that's some serious duct work on the back wall!

Almost red. But a burnt orange up close.

The red one is when I really want to go fast. Sometimes 2 motors can turn a 54X11 at a fast cadence, and downhill = forgettaboutit.
