Bike Stand?
Does anybody have a favorite work stand? I'm looking for something that looks presentable
in the living room and something that is adjustable in terms of height. It seems the
two leading brands are Park Tools and Topeak(sp) but I'm open to almost anything.

Topeak has one that has a scale built in to it. If you are AR about the weight of your bicycle. Although having one in the living might clash with your decor. Good Riding!

I have the Ultimate Pro Compact stand which I feel is far better that the Park's and Topeak's (so does Velo News). It's easy to set up and has a unique clamping mechanism which is safe for holding a bike by it's top tube (not so for the Park stands). Check out the reviews on Roadbikereview.com - top rated.

I have the Ultimate stand too, and have been very pleased with it. It's very stable, and easy to adjust with the bike on it.
