Only 3,000, but she's been averaging that for over 20 years.
Mine's both high mileage and high maintenance - neither having anything to do with bicycles!
I can see it now My new book...The Art of Managing The High Mileage Wife!
Then you can write one for me on managing the "high maintenance" wife
If you're discussing the high maintenance of wives.....consider the HIGH maintenance of an ex-wife! In fact, consider mine...please!! 8-)

My wife, Kay, celebrated riding 200,000 (two hundred thousand) miles with me last year on tandems . . . took us 29 1/2 years of pedaling TWOgether to achieve that number.
Her highest mileage year was 13,000 . . . we are in our 70s now, and have slowed a bit, but going out on the tandem again tomorrow.

Or mine, who never saw a bike she couldn't hate!Originally Posted by GrannyGear
