My Big Ride Across America
 

Hello to Everyone,

This is the first time that I have posted here at Bike Forums, although I do enjoy reading the posts. As, you may be able to tell from my title, I am going to be participating in the American Lung Association of Washington's Big Ride Across America this summer.:D In order to participate, I need to collect $5,500 in donations for the ALAW.

Now, I don't know if it is permissible to ask for donations, here on Bike Forums, but I hope this is not a breach of the rules. If, so, someone can let me know and I will remove this thread.

If, it is ok. I would like to leave this link to my donation page at ALAW's website. And if anyone would like to help, they may make a donation online.

This ride has been of dream of mine for over 35 years. I know some will think, more of a nightmare!!! :eek: But, I'm not getting any younger, so I'm hopefully going to get it done this year.
