The rain is over.... for now

It stopped on Saturday night after about 40 days of rain. The bike riding has gotten a lot better so today I brought a camera along on my 15 mile ride around the dike. Most of the wildlife was too quick for me... even the Nutria but here are some shots from today's nice, dry ride.

Rain? I've forgotten what that is. Drought warnings in force for the UK again this year. Funny thing is- very little rain over the last 6 months but the trails are still slippery and sticky. Only need a little moisture and the puddles form because the ground is already water logged.

Great to ride in the dry though, as your pictures show.
