Find an appropriate sized female thigh and, after hopefully much searching, borrow her garter band. Hopefully red velvet will match your jersey. If not keep searching-- high and low. [Sorry, couldn't resist.]

On the cheap? Cut the sleeves off a t-shirt. Now you have a sleeveless shirt and 2 head bands.
The best I have found tho' is a cycling cap by "Headsweats", it's made from a very thin wicking material plus a built in terry cloth band. They make a "do-rag" style too.

I used cheapies for tennis from WalMart.

I now use a Headsweat Doorag, as I need to keep the sun off of my head, and it comes through the vents in the helmet.

If sweat gets in your eyes, . . .

try a Halo Headband (www.haloheadband.com). My favorite for use under a cycling helmet is the Halo Protex. I've tried several, but if you want to keep the sweat out of your eyes, this one works.

I'll vouch for that. I've got a couple of 'em (black one in my avatar) that I like a lot. Today was in the 90s and humid and still had no sweat in the eyes.

+2

I've got both the head band and cap style, both work fine.

What they said!!!!!! halo is the only band that keeps sweat out of my eyes on a 90+/90%+ day.

I've always used a bandanna folded as a sweatband. I have one "Headsweats" do-rag which works pretty well, that I use infrequently.

Do you guys think the "Halo" is better? Maybe I'm missing something.

Thanks for all the info on sweat bands. Halo looks good. I plan to pick one up soon. I will
use a bandanna or rag until then.

I had a Halo and while it helped it could not keep up with the major sweat produced from riding down here in the summer. I have switched to the CoolMax Doo Rag and that does a much better job, however, Sat was so bad it could not even keep up. I felt more like I had been swimming rather than biking. I know when it is bad when I can ring 30mls of sweat out of each of my gloves after a ride.

There's another sweat thing. I think it was mentioned in the Road Cycling thread. I thinks its like Sweat Gutter. Here's the site: https://www.sweatgutr.com/

From the looks of it, I would give it a try. My guess is that its better than the halo.

Before I started using Headsweats I had my helmet air vent pattern burned into my bald head.

Are there any do wrap-style hats with a built in neck drape?

The halo has a small one that's about 3-4" wide at the top and tapers down about another 3".

Duct tape works too
