Cross Training
Since I rode 90+ miles yesterday and also did a short recovery ride this morning, I thought it would be a perfect afternoon for some "cross training". My brother also rode yesterday and was game for some cross training today as well. My Father in Law agreed to join us so out to the golf course we went. My son also agreed to go and drove my Father in Law around in the golf cart.
While it usually takes me a couple days to get the legs in flexible enough shape to play well, today was an exception. I was able/lucky to hit it close on a number of holes and was fortunate to make 4 birdies. I did have a hole or two that wasn't pretty but still wound up with a one under par round of 71.
Even better it was a really nice afternoon with "the guys" doing stuff we enjoy-with the full support of the wives!!
Here's a couple of photos that my son took of me putting. One of the two photos is of one of the 4 birdie putts that went in. Any guesses as to which photo is one of the putts I made??

Dan-I posted a brief recap here:
https://www.bikeforums.net/fifty-plus-50/201095-3-mountain-madness.html
Weather was really nice-just a touch too breezy for my liking but otherwise fantastic. Pilot was......well steep at 80 miles!!! Over 500 rode in the 3 rides.

Thanks for leading me to the post. I thought I had scrolled down enough to find a post about it, but I guess not.
Great riding yesterday and this morning, the rest of the week looks pretty good as well.
This coming weekend it is off to the coast to deposit my daughter at sailing camp.

Well done, muh man. I played for three or four years. I don't think I made four birdies during that entire time. For me, golf was the TRUE dark side.
