We Did it Folks! Thanks
The 50+ Rogue's Gallery is now in an almost finished form (I may polish it up a bit, who knows?) with 69 entries featuring about 72 folks.
I think it is a very unique document, and doubt that there is anywhere else on the internet providing such a detailed testimony to participation in fitness activities by so many folks 50+.
So, great thanks to all of you 69 folks who took the time and energy to get your picture and bio submitted for inclusion.
We will accept monthly updates and new bios to be posted about the 15th of each month, as I can. Just click below about how to do that.

Dnvr-my hats off to you for the idea and vision. It's a really terrific addition that adds a fantastic personal touch to the forum. I've really enjoyed reading the bio's and seeing the pictures. Thanks for making it happen!!

DnvrFox....I really appreciate your work on the Gallery. I think the Gallery has contributed to the quality of this forum. Aside from all the feedback that goes on around here, I feel like I know some of you folks, and I hope others feel the same. I plan to keep you posted with an update now and then.

Kudos to DnvrFox for all his hard work with the Rogue's Gallery.
Let us not forget it was he who petitioned Joe and the moderators for a 50+ forum a few years ago.

Now what's a Big Paulie? Has anyone ever seen a Big Paulie? Or at least would anyone recognised a Big Paulie if we saw one? Maybe a BP sighting is a rare occurance, like a bigfoot or yeti sighting. We know we saw something, but we don't know what.
Or maybe Big Paulie is the embodiment of all that 50 plussers believe. For example, BP claims to do centuries weekly. Now no 50 plusser here other than Will Dehne claims that (and we're really not too sure about Will, pictures can be faked after all ) but we believe we can. Or the rapier wit and humor--no one is that clever or funny, but we believe we are. Maybe he exists because we believe he does.
Maybe BP is the sum of all our fears. Maybe he is the embodiment of the "trickster" or puckish character. He certainly has a number of personalities that he can change and wear as needed, much like the trickster.
I suspect that there isn't really a BP. But this begs the question, who is posting under Big Paulie's name? I think that we need to know. I think we deserve to know. Dnvr, as a mod it's up to you.
Oh, and by the way, great job on the Rogue site! Yes, excellent job!

Wow, I need to take a nap after reading old99's post!
You will bring the wrath of Koffee Brown, Joe Gardner, and Maelstrom down upon all of us.
I am NOT a mod, never have been, and never will be. I shudder at the thought. I am not made to enforce rules, I am desgned to break rules.
I do know a couple of things about BP that no one else does. Tee hee! And I promised not to tell.

rogue n. & v.
1 a dishonest or unprincipled person.
2 joc. a mischievous person, esp. a child.
3 (usu. attrib.) a a wild animal driven away or living apart from the herd and of fierce temper
(rogue elephant). b a stray, irresponsible, or undisciplined person or thing (rogue trader).
4 an inferior or defective specimen among many acceptable ones.
rogues' gallery a collection of photographs of known criminals etc., used for identification of suspects.

In any successful endeavor such as the Rogues Gallery, there has to be that one unselfish individual who takes the initiative to make it happen. In the case of our little niche here on Bike Forums, we are lucky to have the likes of DNVR who makes it happen. Congratulations DNVR!!!
