One word of advice--stay out of San Diego on June 10. The thought of DG...no, it's too horrible to contemplate. Shoot, stay out of Denver too. There seems to be rather large concentrations of BF50 plussers in both of these locales.

I think I just lost my bleech appetite.

This calls for another index, Denverites!!

Let's see:

The BF 50+ FLAB/ACTIVITY INDEX. Square inches of your uncovered body divided by your weight multiplied by the average length of the past 3 rides/100.

And someone will no doubt take this seriously!

How much skin does the average person have?
A: 20 square feet, weighing close to 6 pounds.
Therefore, I guess I must have about 23 sq feet.

23 sq feet = 3312 sq inches divided by 220 lbs = 15.04 x's 23 miles = 346

346/100 = 3.46.

Hey, this is almost the same index number as my 50+BFBS Index!

Amazing, eh!

And this is the NORMAL Index.

After riding in ordinary shorts the other night- I am not going to take the chance of anything else being irritated by Static. Plus the fact- Where am I going to find a cafe that will let me in for pie dressed like that. My cafes are upper class and have a dress code.

I haven't been naked in public since about 1975, and back then I weighed less than half of what I do now...

Plus, I am NOT going to ride my metric century tomorrow without the extra padding of my cycling shorts...

- just another reason why i love this forum and especially the 50+ forum:

THANKS FOR THE WARNING!

hee hee!

(if you ride long enough down here, every day can the 'Naked Bike Ride Day' - the county sheriff has a special name and reward for this behavior, btw, and most 'participants' are usually spotted wandering out the bushes in the local parks with their pants around the ankles)

:-)
