NYC Century, anyone going?

Sunday Sept 10. Five routes (15, 35, 55, 75, 100) all start at the north end of central park. Sounds like a blast. I think the wife and I will give it a go. I'd like to make a weekend in the city out of it. Anyone ever done this? What would be a good place to stay close to the start?
