Well, the Missus dit it!
Less than a week after struggling with 100+ temps and a banged up knee, my wife (seafoam) and I headed out this morning looking to do another long ride. When it all ended, we had done 102.70 miles! This is my second time going over 100 and my wife's first time. She really rode well today. Conditions were perfect and the weather was much nicer! I just want to congratulate her on her first century!

Congrats to both of you! I've never done a century. Don't ride fast enough to do it in a reasonable time. It must've cooled more than a little for that kind of distance.
That for both of you!
That for both of you!

Congrats!! This has been an interesting story through last week and now this. That's a great ride and takes effort as I know from just completing my first century in early July. You should go out and celebrate, perhaps have a few wheel lugs,(shots) to go along with your fat tires!

I think she will out ride me in short order. Today she asks..."So, where are we going to ride today?". We decided to take the bikes up the hill to Nevada City. Lots and lots of hills! All in all another great riding day.

Great job! Take her out for a nice dinner and a bottle of wine. Enjoy it! This is a great accomplishment. Money can't buy it.

Tell her that she is very special. My guess is that she is one in a Million here in the USA?
What do you guys think? How many married women will go SOLO over 100 miles? Do you think we find more than 300? Nobody in this town.
