Maybe....but a woman with dogs in her hands, especially those nasty Rottweilers, can be formidable and scary.

The side of an RV brushes your elbow as you're hugging the white line. Still irritates me to think about it.........

Approaching a car sitting at a stop sign on an upcoming road on your right and the driver not looking your way.

Descending a hill at 50+ and trying to remember how good the tread is on the front tire..........

  • Gravel on corners
  • Cracks in the road filled in with soft tar and running the same direction as your tires
  • Railroad tracks that run at significantly less than right angles to your tires
  • Blowouts at high speed
  • Car doors

Wet leaves in a turn
Pedestrians three abreast who can't decide which way to split
A child on a tricycle suddenly cutting in front of me
A detonating rear wheel
Cell-phone drivers

And these are only the ones I've experienced so far...

Every ride is a new ride. If I let fear stop me, I wouldn't ride at all.

As long as the squirrel goes under the wheels, you hardly feel them.
