A small boast.

A nice easy 12 miles ride this morning, and in doing so, broke 1000 miles this year. Highest before was 718 in a year. And I have 4 months left.

Many of us will regard 1000 miles in a year as a milestone and it is. Well done but look to concentrating on better rides rather than being dragged into higher milage rides. You do have a couple of milestones to get in-Riding your age and the century ride- but they are not important till you are ready for them.

Well done on the getting past the millstone, sorry milestone, and keep pedalling.

Nice going. Is there a difference between a milestone and a goal? Maybe a milestone is something others set, a goal is something you set.

A milestone is like a step toward a goal.

Great job on the 1000 miles!
