OK. I just subscribed to BF so I can get the little red star by my name. It's only fair. I read the forums one to twelve times a day, post a few pithy comments, learn a bit here and there about bikes and get a great deal of entertainment, especially from the 50+ers. I am assuming the Red Star will make me seem smarter, a better rider and more attractive to women on bikes. I will have to renew my subscription when I am nearly 92 years old. I was thinking about asking about a discounted life time membership, but decided I can charge it to Medi-Cal.

Thanks, Mojo Slim. You've made me feel guilty, and I've had to submit my own payment today in order to sleep tonight

Glad to be of service. It's karma. I felt guilty after reading JPPE's post on "where are the little red stars?"

Oh. Maybe we should make it a challenge. If you are a regular (by any definition) reader/poster on BF, why don't you subscribe? I'll bet nearly everyone has gotten at least one $25 tip or suggestion over the months.

Congratulations, gentlemen - no longer are you just regular cyberweenies: now you are FULLY SUBSCRIBED OLD CYBERWEENIES!

If there were more like you, we could form an avatar troop of the Red Star Brigade to ride down the information superhighway on Sept. 16th, International Blueberry Ride for PIE Day!

Maybe instead of BF.net jersey...there should be a BF.net 50+ jersey...with a red star.

I'm not sure about all that Mojo. I do know though that it really flattens out the hills.

But my star hasn't appeared yet, which would explain why the young lady that came in my LBS called me "Sir".

Made a "time trial" run today. 8.65 miles of four large rollers ending in a 2.5 mile hill. Got their in 39 mins flat compared to a previous 42.25. My new "red star" really works. Or was it my new K-Wings? Or was it my new chain? Or was it that I was feelling pretty good today?
