"Floyd did the ride. The French lad lied".

Didn't see this posted anywhere else on the 50+ fourm. Is there hope yet?

I believe in him, and want to see him exonerated. I hope this gets resolved quickly so he can get on with his life....

It's hard to know what or who to believe in anymore. Maybe it's always been that way and we just weren't aware of all of the disappointments.

I have no idea if Floyd cheated, but the whole pro cycling ethos just gets darker and darker.

This is from today's Cycling News...

'Former US Postal riders admit EPO use' is a very old story. Andreiu testified to using and against Lance in the Tailwind case. (The second rider has also been identifed - can't recall the name right now). They said that they had discussed doing EPO with Lance before he joined the team (I think it was before he got sick), but they had no direct testimony that he actually doped.

So why is this "news" on 9/12/06 ??

I can only repeat my belief that......

Floyd did the ride, the French lab lied.

Ya know what's really funny? I was never rooting for Floyd throughout the Tour. Now I don't want to root for any one else but Floyd.

I had nearly the same experience. I guess it was the underdog thing, but after stage 16, I was rooting for Floyd to come back and boy did he. I believe that Floyd is innocent unless or until proven guilty. I am loathe to accuse him, because if he is proven guilty, I say capital punishment, ban for life. With the stakes that high, he must be considered innocent until proven beyond a doubt. And personally, I still think he and Lance are both clean. I am just stating my opinion and everyone else is entitled to theirs, please don't let this thread turn into one of the flame and bash things.

The only way I would be convinced Floyd and Lance are guilty would be for them to come forward and say they were...... and why would they do that when they didn't dope?
