New bike show on Fox Sports

I got a press release in my email, forwarded from the League of Michigan Bicyclists via my bike club about an upcoming TV show on Fox Sports, "Bicycle World". An excerpt:

Quote:
Bicycle World is asking for you take a couple of minutes and
register on their site to show that support. There is a brief 10
question form to register and you can even give input into what
segments you are most interested in seeing. To register, simply go to
http://bicycleworld.tv and click on the bottom Yellow "Support Cycling"
graphic.

By registering you will automatically be entered to win a
new-lightweight carbon frame by Velo Vie, Maxxis tires, Louis Garneau
clothing, Bicycle World schwag and much more. We will use your email to
notify you if you win a prize and to let you know the exact air dates
and times in your area.
Might be interesting, and while there's an obvious marketing/commercial angle to all such surveys the chance to have input into a show before it airs could be of interest here. Looks like the show aims to be of broad interest to competitive and recreational cyclists alike. Specifically, if a significant number of us geezers take the survey, hey, maybe there'll be a regular feature on "Pie and the Mature Cyclist".

The show is supposed to start in January and will be weekly.

I have no affiliation with Fox. Heck, I don't even watch Fox shows much except for "The Simpsons" and "House" now and then.

Thanks for the heads-up. If others are like me, I am so starved for biking stuff in January that I'd watch it even if it was pretty bad...

I was speaking strictly in the chronological sense.

As one of my favorite sayings goes: "You're only young once, but you can always be immature."
