toughest century!

Hi:
I used to serve breakfast at the "Tour of the Unknown Coast" advertised as the toughest century in Amrica, anyone ever ridden in this event? It is ridden in Humboldt County Ca., wayyyyy up north.
I have driven over the route many times and it is something I would love to try but not now. The last 10 miles or so have two hills that seem to go up and up at an extreme angle. And go on for a long time.
I was just wondering if any of you have ridden this ride.
You can fess up if you didn't make it all the way, that's ok.
