New bike for wife?

my lbs just e-mailed that they should order this for Mrs. M....she's been looking for a sister for her Trek 7300,

anyone have any feedback on these?...there's one left in the DC and can be had a clearout price

30/42/52 chain ring with an 12/25 8spd cog set, carbon fork

looks like a girlie bike

Any good?

Don't know about that particular model. However, Opus is a Canadian company, Quebec I belive. They've got some pretty impressive top line bikes, and some of their stuff gets very favorable reviews. I think they've also been supporter of several off road biking events in Canada. So, it's probably a reputable company.

That looks a reasonable bike- and For a girl- is just the right colour to enable her to show her aggression. Just don't let her beat you up the hills or on the straight.

Contact Dauphin on how to knobble bikes to keep the wife behind you on rides.

thanks...it will in be next week, and there is no obligation to buy, so we'll check it out

we've already discussed swapping the cog set to an 11/32 or 34 as we have some serious climbs on the Niagara Escarpment

its about the same price as the Kona Jake that may be an alternative, but my wife likes to sit a little higher so this little hybrid ay do the trick

enjoy the weekend, all
