??Weather Ahead this Week for 50+ Bicyclers??

So what's your bicycling week look like, weather wise?

Enter your own city, state or zip code to find your "official" bicycling forecast and graph

San Diego looks just a bit "foggy?"

Cooler than normal here in NC. Probably just the engineer in me but I like the line graph!! Much better visual than the bar graph I've been using on Weather Underground. It looks like some of the hills I've done on some rides before as well!!

This week's weather? Not good. I'm quite fond of warm and sunny days.

I miss summer, we are having a very hard time letting go of Summer this year. *sigh* Where did the nice Fall season go? For christ sakes it is only October!

We did ride 22 miles yesterday but the wind chills were in the mid 20's - that was a tad bit cold

Don't think I can either- Rain, rain and more rain for the south east corner of the UK. Picked the 3 hours this morning with a dry spell for a ride- Any one got any spare flippers as I think the drought has ended. Mind you, that has not been confirmed yet so can't get the hose out and water the garden yet.

Marginal to crappy: Weather Channel 10 day forecast Temps in fahrenheit, of course.

Of course, it depends when you click the link. Should be better in May or June.

About the same over here near the nations capitol. The warm air wafting outwards from the cooridors of power keep our morning lows about 5 degrees warmer next week.

Looks like the rain mixed with snow quits for Tue night/Wed, then starts again on Thursday. One day out of the week without precipitation. Hmmmph!

DnvrFox -- On the other side of the mountains we are looking at a great week for biking! Highs around 60, lows around freezing, with little or no wind and mostly sunny skies. Got my bike back from the repair shop just in time!

Highs in the 60's partly cloudy here. I am already dreading the dreaded time change this next week end. Puts me about out of light to ride after work.

Weather was GREAT for my 25 mile ride and 2 mile walk yesterday! Got up to about 68F, mild wind, blue and sunny.

"Today: Mostly sunny, with a high near 67. South wind between 5 and 10 mph."

Send some of that weather to the upper Midwest! We've been stuck in a rut for what seems like a month - cold, overcast, dreary, wet November weather - and no sign of Indian summer!

We are having the Indian Summer- In between the Rain and the winds.

Showing my age- Back in the late 50's, I moved out of London to the country. Cannot remember London weather much but that country weather used to bring a few Memorable Items around each year- First frost was around the beginning of September and after that the Trees would change colour till the leaves fell around the middle of October. Then it used to rain till November the 5th when for one night- or evening we had a let up in the rain. The Anglo-philes will understand what Guy Fawkes has done to the Youth of this Nation.

This year- We still have green leaves on the trees- No autumn colour and no piles of leaves to start the bonfire up on Guy Fawkes night. To see one of Our UK traditions- then see the link below.

https://www.woodlands-junior.kent.sch...stoms/Guy.html

One good thing to come out of this mild weather is that We will be holding the Bonfire party for the Neighbourhood again in our garden as we have a respectable sized garden and an outdoor barbeque that is still in use. Invites available upon request- I'll provide the food but you will have to bring your own beer.
