I am in central Florida and I guess because of day length I want to hide under the covers rather than ride, but it's not cold ourtside and I hate not going for a long ride so why do I want to get under the covers?
In the winter my morning rides are now on the trainer but I can't wait for the weekend to get in some outdoor rides. Yesterday it was 34F a slight wind and I put in a 33 mile ride - it was great but I had the right gear on.
Still waiting for our first snow fall which is long overdue - seems that Dnvr is having all the fun this year.
For me the hardest part about riding in the winter is getting ready to ride in the winter. It takes so darn long to put on all the layers! But once I'm out there, it's great. And I like it when people look at me like I'm crazy.
Agree, just thinking about getting dressed sometimes stops the whole process.
