On a bicycle tour what do you want to see the least?

stapfam 01-05-07 04:57 PM

Hooray- Only 74 miles to go and then I can have a breakfast.

Tom Bombadil 01-05-07 05:38 PM

That's the kind of sign I love to see when I'm driving my Integra.

big john 01-05-07 05:41 PM

You don't like curves?

Cassave 01-05-07 05:49 PM

That looks like the sign on PCH in Monterey, heading south through Big Sur. Am I right?

Around here, if you see a sign like that you've usually got some climbing to do......

seems like fun to me

stercomm 01-05-07 06:38 PM

The butt and backside of someone else unless there is a tough headwind, then they are most welcome

Tom Stormcrowe 01-05-07 07:28 PM

Here's a couple I'd really hate to see! Impossible of course but think about it!

At which point, I turn around, go home and get one of the motorcycles, because here's living proof that God Loves Me.

You've got a good eye. That's the sign that doesn't mean back and forth but 74 miles of UP DOWN UP DOWN UP DOWN - MAMA!

From Mojo Slim: "No comment needed."

As an observation, I have noticed that she has freckles on her butt, she's pretty.

Has to be the best Photo posted on the forum- Just as long as BP doesn't spout on about the photography. Again. Just leave us to our delusions and aspirations as we climb Mt. Ventoux.

And when they say "No Services" - they mean NO SERVICES - of any kind, period. And this is going across the Utah desert starting at Green River.

I know, I've been out there in a truck. Crossing that by bike, I'd carry a 5 gal container in the bike trailer, I guess.

And, there are not what one might call "alternative routes," either! Salina is the next town, 100 miles down the road.:D

That's brutal all right. Of course, the salt flats are something else too. I actually went to high school in Wendover Utah. It’s hot, flat, and nothing grows there. I wonder if anyone has done the salt flats ride in the summer. You could do it with support.
