Good to see you made the plunge. As you know I've only used mine for 3 rides and am still coming up the learning curve. However I have not seen anything that makes me regret buying it...........but I will admit the credit card bill has not arrived just yet!!

GPS Geeks! And they made fun of me for buying a Cat Eye.... We use the hell out of them at work, and now I wonder how we would ever find our way to some of the places our men have to go without one and a good current mapping program. I'm sure they are great on the bikes, I'll be watching with interest for more reports.

I have my bike set up on a trainer downstairs. I have a Garmin 305 with a heart monitor and a cadence monitor. It makes spinning almost--almost fun.

Ahhh CRAP! Got the Edge all set up last night. Works great! Temperatures in the low 40's today, with 35 MPH winds, and sub-zero for the rest week! No road riding for Toes, not for a while. Montana seems to be missing out on the global warming thing.

Sorry to hear that. Can't wait to hear about the inaugural ride-sounds like it will be a good test to see if the Garmin will work in subfreezing temps though.

I keep reading about these things so I just went out and checked the Garmin website
The 305 just looks far too cool for words. Ohhhh... I didn't need to see that
Not cheap but, oh, what it can do
