Let's see a side by side comparison!

My dad always looked like James Cagney, and even got stopped on the street sometimes by people wanting his autograph.

My avatar is Schipperke pups about 4 weeks old. The white one's been ours since about 2 weeks after this shot was taken. They remind me of little bears.

Mine is an attempt at a closeup of the scroll work on my Merlin Cyrene. Kind of hard to see at 1" x 1" though... I think I'll change it to a picture of my saddle.

My avatar shows the inside of a snow drift last Feb. in Cleveland,s storm of the year.

The next avatar will show me,"going towards the white light",after kissing the asphalt on a sharp muddy turn a few weeks back.

Hi,
My avatar is an abbreviated version of my Geobiking website LOGO.
Had to ask my 18 year old how to create an avatar - too simple!

I took a few minutes to make a new avatar... not quite what I had envisioned, but I was tired of my old high school picture.

I am still envisioning something like a Peter Max sunrise behind the bike, but I thought for now the spirograph catches the era too, and it was a built in option with Gimp.

It's pretty cool!

I rather liked your old avatar; I always thought it was some child star from TV from the 50s. Were you a frequent guest on the Donna Reed show?

I have never been on TV. Although I have been to two tapings. One was for a local show in Seattle, and must have been in early February because the host recited the Gettysburg Address.

I was also at a taping of the Tony Orlando and Dawn Christmas show in 1975. The Infantry training company sent several of us up as a group. I don't know if I was ever on camera in the audience, because I missed watching the show, but I did get to shake hands with Tony! My brush with fame..

I should do a morph between my HS picture and a current picture. When I first showed the HS picture to a friend, he proclaimed, "There isn't even a family resemblance."

I've been using a photo of my Rans Nimbus, taken Thanksgiving day, the day I finished building it from a frame. It is my designated winter bike, so I've just switched back to this avatar, me on my Bacchetta Corsa. It was taken last year, just after I bought it. I've since shortened the riser, and reclined the seat further back. I need to take a new photo.

Mine comes from one of my favorite animations, "Kenya". It can be seen at Weebl's Stuff and I highly recommend it.

It's the perfect animation when you need a break while doing an all-nighter at work. Wonderfully perky and energetic in that unique British style.

That looks strangely like a receint post with two ended bicycles.
Has anyone here ever ridden a high wheel? I trued the wheel on one once because no bicycle shop would take the job but I could not convince myself to climb aboard.

Its a good avitar but I fear that I may miss the golden helmet. The thought of seeing that going downhill on a road byke to Wagner....awsome.....

My latest is the beach on Maui after riding 38 miles down off the volcano. Unfortunately, I was on a junker bike and our group speed was limited.
