My neighbor bought a new bike!

My across the street neighbor who also happens to be my eye doctor showed up yesterday with a Schwinn mountain bike. He had his kids out with him, one on his first bike that he has just learned to ride and one in a trailer behind the Schwinn. How cool. I'm not sayin' much but this is after seeing me coming and going over the last year and asking me how the ride was and how did I like my bike and where did I go and such. It will be nice to have another partner in the neighborhood, in addition to son and Lovey. I hope I was a positive influence here (for a change).

That's the way it was here when we moved in. The place was like a ghost town and the people would stop us and ask where we ride, or go and what kind of bike to buy. After all is said and done a week or so later, there they are riding by giving me a thumbs up. They feel good and so do I. Have a good one and ride safe.

Sounds like the neighborly thing to do is meander over there with a pie to share.
