Club for the fallen?
 

A lot of discussion with regard to newcomers falling with Clipless pedals. It has been mooted that we come up with a name for those that have met the ground a bit unexpectedly when wearing clipless pedals. Feeling is that it should be a society or club so a few suggestions for you to vote on.

Tomber is the French for fall or falling and it is pronounced TOMBAY. Hence the alternative phonetic spelling in Tombay.

I liked the french story you had in the other post. The original french shounds good to me no matter how it is pronounced.

What name does someone get if they unclip prior to stopping all the time?

Since I am the one who SEEMS to have gotten this fallen thing started (by a thread the other day), I had to vote for my own idea...therefore raising the percentage to forty... I am even enchanted at the idea that something I wrote in the forum has got the group going.........................peace

Either a Sage- or they are not riding often enough

If you're going to go with French, it should be "l'Equipe Tomber". Would look good on a maillot, non?

Rocco has agreed with me!!!!! Non mountain bikers and Club Turtle is a great name And that 6 way tie looks on. One day the 50+ers will become one body and turn into clones of DG.
