Another milestone passed....

I applied for Social Security today. I should be able to afford a new bike after July first.

Congratulations! That's a great milestone. I'm looking forward to hitting that one in a couple years myself

What type of bike will you be buying?

I'd like to get a recumbent. I've been looking at a Bacchetta... they make a nice yellow one.

I have a few years to wait, but congrats. You have earned every penny you will receive. Good luck on your bike search.

With that 'huge' SS check you might even be fill up a couple times at the gas station . .
Better to ride a bike . . .cheaper/healthier in the long run.

I don't spend much on gas. Drove a whopping 3400 miles last year. I usually fill 'er up about every 6 weeks or so.

My biggest problem is bike storage. It's getting so that I don't have enough space in the living room to work on more than 2 bikes at a time.
