Tyres from the land of Stepfam
I went riding with a group from work last night and two of them had new tires on their bikes. I have one pretty worn one and asked how they liked theirs. They ride a lot and have good equipment so I think they are pretty well informed. The new tires were Michelin Pro 2 race tires and they got them off of the internet from England. The name of the site is https://www.probikekit.com/ and they have a very good selection and they had the Pro 2 tyres for $7.00 cheaper than any other site I found. They also have free shipping. My friend said it takes about a week to get them. It seems odd that you can buy something from England and have it shipped here cheaper than you can buy here but oh well. I am anxious to get them and see how they look and ride on my bike. I got the ones with the yellow trim to go with the emblems on my bike.

Surprised that anyone is buying from the UK as the exchange rate is not that good. Mind you- This is a European product- French- so you are probably being fleeced in the first place. Looked through the site and there are some good prices on this so could be worth a look.

Probikekit is a favored site in the Road forum. The prices are low.

I've used PBK a few times. They offer some really good deals in spite of the exchange rate. Only gripe I have is with their packaging. Lots of stuff is shipped in plastic bags, no box or carton involved. With tires it shouldn't be a problem.
